challenge and become a Junior Conservationist. We're
glad you are here!
To earn the Official
Wildlife Conservation Society Junior Certificate
in Conservation, you need to accomplish three different
activities. Print out this page to use as a reference
as you work through the activities.
Before you start, ask an adult at
home, your teacher or a mentor if they'll sponsor you.
Your adult certificate sponsor should read the Grownups'
Guidelines for each of the three activities.
Each time you complete one of the three activities,
your sponsor will review your accomplishments. When
you've completed all three activities and your sponsor
has approved each one, you'll be eligible for your certificate!
- Read a book and
write a report.
- Visit the WCS
Web site.
- Take the Rainforest
Pledge and choose three courses of action you will
follow to conserve wildlife and wild places in tropical
rainforest regions and in the area where you live.
