Fun facts: Before the female lays eggs, she and the male both work to seal her inside the nest with soil and sticky mud. While the female incubates the eggs, the male forages for their food. He brings food to the nest by carrying it in his gullet, and then he regurgitates to feed the female. She does not leave the nest until the young are ready for flight.
