Born in 1959, Timmy is a gorilla senior citizen. He is large and powerful--trusting, yet reserved. Since coming to the Bronx Zoo, he has fathered many offspring, including the famous twins Ngoma and Tambo. Timmy has a full face with a half-smile. He has deep set eyes and a solid brow ridge.

Timmy's nose is very even and round--it is shaped like a heart.
