The Junior Conservationist Certificate Program

Along with the materials in this section, we encourage you to review the Certificate Program. You can integrate the Certificate Program within your curriculum or, depending on the level and ability of your students, assign one or more of these activities as independent projects. Some of the activities can be adapted for small group or class-wide collaborative learning opportunities. Each of the projects provides ample opportunities for assessment, and you can award a certificate based on your own rubrics or based on the guidelines outlined in the Certificate Program section. Students who wish to pursue the certificate need a teacher or parent to review their work.
